It is driven by specimen volume and staffing pressure rather than hospital size. Once a laboratory spends significant medical technologist time sorting, centrifuging, aliquoting and moving tubes between benches, a track that carries the sample between modules returns that time to actual testing. We size the configuration against your specimen flow before quoting.
Which disciplines can run on one MT 8000 line?
Chemistry, immunoassay, hematology and coagulation modules connect to the same four-lane track, with automated loading, sorting, centrifugation and storage, so one specimen can visit several disciplines without being handled between them.
